Subject to air traffic control clearance from Edinburgh airport we begin the journey flying to the South West routing overhead Knockhill racing circuit and onwards to the Clackmannan bridge where we cross the River Forth.

Our next point of interest is the Kelpies and shortly after this we enter controlled airspace.

From this point onwards we have magnificent views looking along the Forth to the 3 bridges and beyond.

The next landmark on our right side is Linlithgow Loch and Palace which looks spectacular from the air.

A few minutes later we have Blackness Castle to our left sitting on the South bank of the River Forth and the House of the Binns just a little way inland from this.

A few miles further along the coast is Hopetoun house.

we are now just 3 miles from Edinburgh airport with splendid views of the city ahead and the 3 bridges almost in touching distance as we fly directly over them and make our turn towards home so make sure the camera battery is fully charged before we set off.

From here we turn North following the M90 heading towards Kinross to get some stunning views of Loch Leven before landing back at Balado airfield
